In January 2020, the average export price of US blue wet leather was 107.19 US dollars. The average price for the same period last year was $ 109.21.

In January, the import volume of Chinese tannery manufacturers increased, with 988,000 pieces of salt and wet hides imported, accounting for almost 60% of the total US salt and wet hide exports, an increase of 2% over the same period last year.

The number of wet blue leather exported from the United States to China increased by 56% to 106,000, accounting for 32% of the total export volume. The volume of wet blue leather exported to Vietnam dropped by 10% to 96.325 million pieces. The number of exports to Italy was 6.3250, a year-on-year decrease of 56%.
